The Pizzicato Foundation was established by Peter Klapkowski, who was a passionate violin student in his youth. Although he pursued a career in finance, classical music remained his beloved hobby. Over the years, Mr. Klapkowski amassed a substantial collection of high-quality violins, which he decided to rent free-of-charge to young professionals through the Pizzicato Foundation.

Our mission is to provide young, talented violinists with the opportunity to enhance their careers. By giving them access to quality instruments, the foundation helps these young prodigies unfold their outstanding skills and improve their artistic maturity. The instrument and the player create a living partnership that also leaves a mark on the instrument's provenance.
