Julia Kalicka

The Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Biala Podlaska

Julia Kalicka began learning to play violin under the supervision of professor Maryan Andrukhiv at the age of seven. Julia Kalicka started learning to play the violin in 2017 at the age of seven. Julia is a student of the Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Biala Podlaska with professor Agnieszka Cypryk as her teacher.

Julia participated in many competitions, including:

  • 5th Violin Competition "Jak Wieniawski" in Lublin in 2023 (2nd place)

  • 10th National Violin Competition "Master of Children's Literature Oskar Rieding" in Warsaw in 2023 (1st place)

  • 3rd National Competition for Young Violinist Archetti in Jaworzno in 2023 (3rd place)

  • 18th Zyrardow Violin Meetings in Zyrardow in 2023 (2nd place)

  • 20th Violin Competition "Janko Muzykant" in Sochaczew in 2023 (1st place)

  • 12th Prof. Lawrynowicz National Violin Meetings in Plock in 2023 (3rd place)

  • 6th Jadwiga Kaliszewska National Violin Competition in Poznan in 2022 (3rd place)

  • 4th Wanda Wilkomirska Violin Competition of Polish Music in Czestochowa in 2022 (3rd place)

  • 7th International Competition in Pulawy in 2022 (2nd place)
